Authentically Asian yet proudly Australian, at Hakka we pride ourselves on being the market leader of Asian foods in Australia, with over 40 years of experience. We provide a full range of authentic Asian foods to the retail, foodservice and commercial sectors under some of Australia’s most well-known Asian brands including Hakka, Vinaco and Chung Yuen.

The ‘Hakka’ name stems from the nomadic Hakka people who integrated the very best Chinese cuisine, creating delicious recipes as they travelled around China, adapting to new climates and customs. The word 'Hakka' translates to 'guest families' reflecting how the Hakka people were embraced into their new communities. In the spirit of showing the same hospitality given to the Hakka people, we invite you to 'be our guest' and enjoy our food - The food that Asians choose.

Under strict quality control and food safety standards, including HACCP and SQF we are able to provide all our customers the confidence and assurance that each and every Hakka product delivers on its promise of quality, safety and consistency time and time again.

At Hakka, we are as passionate about protecting our planet as we are about producing quality food. We aim to lead a positive change on our environment by using solar energy and energy efficient boilers to minimise greenhouse gas emissions and to lessen our carbon footprint. As a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant, Hakka also has a focus to minimise waste and the use of plastic, further reducing environmental impact of packaging.
